Titan
Titan is an digital marketplace that connects prospective clients to industry-reviewed and rated designers.
The Product
For digital artists - Their journey begins with an initial submission to a panel of top industry professionals who will judge an artist by their technical proficiency and creativity. The Titans will then issue a recommended hourly fee, and the Titan seal of approval to display on marketing material.
Once accepted, digital artists can use our platform to directly contact prospective buyers, advertise their services, and securely collect payment of their recommended rate.
For perspective buyers - Titan allows you to browse through a collection of today’s greatest collection of panel-reviewed emerging digital talent. Artists rates, and project timeline estimations are fully displayed on each profile. Titan allows for easy contract negotiation and payment processing.
My Role
Roles: Product Management, Ideation, Competitive and comparative analysis, User Interviewing, Usability Testing, Organizer and lead stakeholder presenter
Scheduled the project timeline and assigning nightly tasks to the team.
Created the value proposition which balanced the needs of the designers with the needs of the clients.
Chose which idea we should focus our project on by mapping all the interests of the team and then choosing an idea that seemed the most practical given the abbreviated timeline.
Recorded our process throughout the project so we could keep track of what needed to be done and who would handle the remaining tasks. We also wanted the materials so we could document our process; I have most things but not the final sketch or presentation.

Product Research
Goal: Discover the products that exist within the freelance design environment.
We organized research using a comparative / competitive analysis and then after user research I got the team together to discuss features using a MoSCoW map to compare and contrast ideas and feasibility.
User Research
Goals: To discover the habits, needs, and pains around freelance design and where Titan may fit in to solve some key problems.
8 Interviews conducted in person / phone with freelance designers
Synthesized findings using affinity mapping
Created two User Personas: Roger, the client, and Christine, a mid-level graphic designer and her Journey around completing a freelance design job. Through this we were able to discover opportunities where Titan could help a designer complete their freelance gigs.

Task Flows
Before jumping into screen design, we organized the order of screens and the basic look and feel using task flows for both user types.
Two images showing task flows for both user types: client and designer.
